Subject RE: IS Tomcat SSL Enabled ?
Date Fri, 12 May 2000 19:01:20 GMT
If you are using tomcat standalone then the answer is no.
If you are using tomcat with another web server - eg. apache then SSL is
provided by the webserver.
On linux I use Apache with mod_ssl - on NT I'm using IBM's HTTP server -
which is a version of apache with SSL support included.

Hi,
I am working for IBM India and using Tomcat 3.1 as a webserver. I need
to know if it is SSL enabled and what are the security options provided for
this server
Please revert back as soon as possible

Thanks
