Sure it is.

In the tomcat INSTALL file you'll find that it asks you to download the
mod_jserv.so file and place it at apache's libexec directory; it also
asks you to add a line to http.conf to include tomcat's config file.
If your Apache rejects the mod_jserv.so file saying that it was compiled
in plain Apache API and it can break under your EAPI compiled Apache, 
you'll have to get JServ 1.1 compile it in dinamic mode and with the
enable-EAPI option, and when you make install for it, you'll have a
mod_jserv.so file compatible with your Apache. This is all you need to
plug Tomcat into Apache.
