Betreff: exception management

Hi,

I wonder about this behavour:

<%
// here my own exception is thrown (correct) and displayed in my errorpage
menueManagementBean.setIdAktuellAusgewaehlterMenueEintrag("102005");
%>

<%-- here an org.apache.jasper.JasperException is thrown (incorrect
behavour???)--%>
<jsp:setProperty name="menueManagementBean"
property="idAktuellAusgewaehlterMenueEintrag" value="102005" />

With a correct value, it works fine. But I want to catch my own exception.

Is it a bug of tomcat? Does anybody know?

Thomas
