The very beginnings of an application developers guide can be found in the
"src/docs/appdev" subdirectory of the source distribution.  There is currently no
documentation (other than the code) on Tomcat's internals, although a presentation
on this subject made at ApacheCon should shortly show up online -- details will be
announced later.
