Olivier Lamy (*$^¨%`£) commented on MTOMCAT-181:
------------------------------------------------

Again I cannot reproduce the issue !
Simple test project generated using the archetype: http://tomcat.apache.org/maven-plugin-2.0/archetype.html
Once it's generated I run: mvn tomcat7:run
And I hit my browser on http://localhost:9090/
And AFAIK it works.

> Right now the plugin simply ignores this:
> <plugin>
> <groupId>org.apache.tomcat.maven</groupId>
> <artifactId>tomcat7-maven-plugin</artifactId>
> <version>2.0</version>
> <configuration>
> <path>/</path>
> </configuration>
> </plugin>
> and take the artifactId as default context path.
> Would be possible to run it under the root context?
