OK, I see the source of this issue:

- the project generated by the artifact includes the path at /project/build/pluginManagement/plugins/plugin/configuration/path

- since I had it at /project/build/plugins/plugin/configuration/path

But reorganizing my pom as it should be, I got the following error:

The plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-tomcat7-plugin' does not exist or no valid version
could be found

Notice the wrong groupId of the plugin, which I'm not sure from where it comes from :-S
