In fact I feel as a Maven evangelist.

Moving from Ant to Maven is not an easy path, since there is the need of a
great reorganization. I already did it for a few work projects, and one
project at Apache. If someone does not know the phylosophy of Maven, it's
better not to try Mavenizing it, because usually the project structure
under a specific build script with Ant is so spaghettified that it needs to
be sorted out.
