I have to strongly agree with Mark here.  Having the single source tree has made problem analysis
and research much, much simpler.  Reverting to the multiple trees just to satisfy Maven's
one-size-fits-none philosophy would be a major step backwards.  Mladen's earlier comments
are spot-on.
