Subject DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50754] New: The file doesn't get killed properly upon Tomcat shutdown
Date Thu, 10 Feb 2011 18:02:21 GMT

Summary: The file doesn't get killed properly upon
                    Tomcat shutdown
           Product: Tomcat 6
           Version: 6.0.24
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: Catalina

In addition, the -force does not work at times which probably is the reason for
the above.

We are forced to put wrapper script in place to do an lsof to kill the process
if it's found. Our Build Framework for our products will be delivered to our
customers after this year and we will not be providing our wrapper script to
them so we hope that this gets fixed by then.

Thanks. Pat Pigatti (QAD, Inc - Manager of Development Engineering)
