The launch files reference the project name (which is the same as the sample in
eclipse.project).
I have Tomcat checked out in a directory with a completely different name and
they work fine.

Like I said, the launch targets may be more trouble than they're worth - if
there continue to be issues I'll remove them and let devs create their own from
the instructions.
Actually thinking about it, they'll probably create diff issues as they're
modified in the filesystem when they're changed in Eclipse, so backing them out
or converting them to samples that are copied in might be a better idea.
