   . On non-Windows operating systems, Tomcat can only answer web requests on port 80 or port
443 when Tomcat is integrated with a solution that allows receiving requests on these default
privileged port numbers. Because using the default port numbers is preferable or even required
for many reasons, Tomcat administrators must research the solutions and choose a way to configure
it to work on their servers.
