Summary: Clustering - Support for disabling multicasting and
                    adding only static members
           Product: Tomcat 6
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://www.mail-
                    archive.com/users@tomcat.apache.org/msg36860.html
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Cluster
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: shivahr@gmail.com

While setting up a Tomcat Cluster, we want to be able to disable multicasting
and add only static members, similar to what was discussed on the users list:
http://www.mail-archive.com/users@tomcat.apache.org/msg36860.html

I have tried the workaround suggested - adding DisableMcastInterceptor to
disable multicasting and then adding static membership interceptors to add
static members. And it works as expected.

Can this behavior be exposed as a standard option (instead of the need to write
new classes like DisableMcastInterceptor)?
