           Summary: NPE in HostConfig.deployDescriptor
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Catalina
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: jochen@apache.org

In Tomcat 5.5.15, I have the following context.xml in my war file:

    <context
        reloadable="true"
        crossContext="false">
        <WatchedResource>WEB-INF/web.xml</WatchedResource>
        <Resource
            name="jms/MyQueueConnectionFactory"
            auth="Container"
            type="org.apache.activemq.ActiveMQConnectionFactory"
            description="JMS Connection Factory"
            factory="org.apache.activemq.jndi.JNDIReferenceFactory"
            brokerURL="tcp://stujwi.eur.ad.sag:61616"
            brokerName="LocalActiveMQBroker"/>
    </context>

This results in an NPE. (See below for a stack trace.)

Looking through Bugzilla, I have found Bug 27916 and tried to add a docBase
attribute like docBase="${catalina.base}/webapps/amq" with no different result.
This problem did not occur in 5.5.12.
