What problems ? I think it would be cleaner and more consistent with
what we do - i.e.
label/branch all components at the same time and same way.

Well, maybe 6.x would be the right time to reorg the code to a single
tree, I'll ask again when we get there ( BTW - what are the plans for
6.x ? )
