hey,

i wasn't really blaming log4j, i just noted from the many many posts for this 
bug that log4j came up a lot and taking a pragmatic view thought it may be 
addressable. however, i appreciate that if you were to do that, then where 
would you stop if other libs caused the same issue. it wouldn't be good to 
pollute tomcat's code to bypass known issues for sure. i jsut think that since 
it's mostly this log4j class causing the issue, someone somewhere could change 
the root cause.

i don't know .. just thinking out load ;)
