           Summary: Multi-Byte characters in URI
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.0.25
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: Servlet & JSP API
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: srinivas_b_g@rediffmail.com

URI with Multi-Byte characters are not handled appropriately by tomcat. When
application is deployed to tomcat and the application has multi-Byte
characters and when the application is launched, the HTTP Status 404 error
comes up.This after changing the encoding to UTF_8 in web.xml and URIEncoding
to UTF-8 in server.xml for connector tags.
