My comment was indeed missing two words.

BTW, regardless of what your profiler says, I don't think you can get 10x.
However, now that the runtime performance is good, I'm interested in optimizing
compile times. One part has been done already by replacing the compiler by one
which decreses I/O (although the main benefit was to get compilation on the JRE
instead of the JDK).
