You still need to "play nice" with regular Jasper mode, when compilation occurs
on access. I would complain if there are memory leaks, and/or abusive memory
usage ;)

If code generation times go down significantly, and since JDT is used to compile
(fast and does very little I/O), I would assume it would encourage many people
to not bother with precompilation (hence the need to avoid leaks and huge memory
usage).
