This works quite happily for me.

Reviewing the patch for bug6594 it looks like the root cause was that some 
resources were not being released. Is it possible your app is doing something 
like this? I would suggest that the tomcat-user mailing list is the best place 
to follow this up.

If you do re-open this bug please provide the simplest possible test war that 
demonstrates the problem.
