Weird, I will try a tomcat build with the JMX 1.2.1 jar (jmxri.jar) i'm using outside a web
container and see what happens (probably something horrific). If it works do you want to know
about it?

In theory if you have JMX 1.2.1 then the remote stuff should just work....
