j_security_check isn't fed through filters

But under the Sun specifications it SHOULD reach the filter because the filter 
is defined as handling all request going to that webapp. Authentication is 
suppose to be a transparent layer on top of the webapp, not something that 
overrides the behaviour specified in web.xml
