You 'test' servlet is mounted under /protected/index.srv  in the web.xml. This does not mean
that 
paths in that servlet are relative to /protected/ (e.g. forwarding to just 'default.jsp' is
not valid).

Consider that you can mount a servlet under several different url patterns at the same time.
Which 
relative should it use then?
