Better rewrite it like :

if (remote_sa->next)
	env->l->jkLog(env,
	env->l,
	JK_LOG_DEBUG,
	"channelApr.open(): error %d creating socket %d %s\n",
	ret,
	socketInfo->host);
else
	env->l->jkLog(env,
	env->l,
	JK_LOG_ERROR,
	"channelApr.open(): error %d creating socket %d %s\n",
	ret,
	socketInfo->host);
