ODBC bridge corrupt under NT service

Summary: ODBC bridge corrupt under NT service
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Unknown
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: mlowden_3000@hotmail.com

discovered that a JSP page using a package that links to a JDBC-ODBC bridge
crashed if and only if (iff) it was set to be an NT service. it seemed as if
it was trying to run the bridge before the ODBC service had been initialized.
perhaps this would be more stable if done at JSP run-time as opposed to
catalina runtime. don't know if that would work however with the JDBC-ODBC
bridge being run in the package.
