jsp:setProperty("*") directive fails whe used with transitional XHTML and a POST

           Summary: jsp:setProperty("*") directive fails whe used with
                    transitional XHTML and a POST
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.1.12
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://aballen.phathookups.com/ZwiftBooks
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Servlet & JSP API
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: aballen@ptd.net

It appears that when a transitional XHTML form has both the action and method
atributes, that the following code only works with with an HTTP GET
<jsp:useBean id="indexBean" scope="session" class="zwiftbooks.indexBean" />
<jsp:setProperty name="indexBean" property="*" />

I have verified this works with tomcat 4.0, but fails on 4.1.

I have aslo tested this to bes consistent with mozilla 1.2b and IE 6.00.26

When I switch this to POST my bean fails to get any properties set.
