Tag file defined in XML syntax does not seem to recignize import attribute in tag directive

Summary: Tag file defined in XML syntax does not seem to
recignize import attribute in tag directive
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: Nightly Build
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Jasper2
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: prasad.subramanian@sun.com

If a tag file is defined in XML syntax , then the value of the attribute import
in the tag directive is not reflected in the import list in the Simple Tag
Handler ( java) file that this tag file is translated into.
