Attribute has no value, related to quotation mark

Summary: Attribute has no value, related to quotation mark
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.0.4 Final
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: OS/2
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Unknown
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: junk@bbs.darktech.org

Using Tomcat under Netbeans; they include v4.04 final as far as I know..

When I try compiling a JSP containing this line:

<jsp:setProperty name="counter" property="appBase" value="<%=
application.getRealPath("") %>" />

I get "Attribute has no value"

The cause of the bug seems to be <%= application.getRealPath("") %>.. When you
remove it, the problem goes away.
