Blatantly stupid suggestion, but you might use a FileLogger using /dev/null if you want to
save the performance impact caused by writing data on file (that's what I do, since I noticed
the same bug)...

Too bad that it won't save the overhead of preparing the messages to be logged, but you
can get a nice 10/15% of performance increase...
