Subject RE: mod_jk 1.2.0 / tomcats benchs&problems : Was : jk 1.2 freese/snap time in JTC ?
Date Wed, 19 Jun 2002 15:10:12 GMT
Ok, there is less problems with mod_jk 1.2.0 when
Apache servers (1.3/2.0) are set to have a maximum
of 150 clients.

Apache 1.3/Tomcat 3.3.1 => 10000 requests ok
Apache 2.0/Tomcat 4.0.4 => 10 to 30% of requests failed

Apache 1.3/Tomcat 4.0.4 => about 10% of requests failed
Apache 2.0/Tomcat 3.3.1 => 10 to 30% of requests failed

Strange things :

netstat reports many more ajp connections in TIME_WAIT
when Apache 2.0 is in use (up to 750 connections in TIME_WAIT).

....

May be a close socket is missing somewhere in Apache 2.0 code.....
