Tomcat 4.0.3 directory redirection 302 returns wrong Location

You are not using Coyote (I can tell because of the Server header).

Coyote uses the Host header to determine the server name (used in redirections)
and server port.
The old HTTP/1.1 connector should also have been fixed.

Example:
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: foobar:4042

Response header:
HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily
Location: http://foobar:4042/index.jsp
...
