[PATCH] Speed up Tomcat a tiny bit

Summary: [PATCH] Speed up Tomcat a tiny bit
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: Nightly Build
          Platform: All
               URL: http://www.kare.uklinux.net/pub/tomcat-speed.patch
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Catalina
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: kare@kare.uklinux.net

Referenced patch replaces array copy for-loops with System.arraycopy(). This
should be faster as it doesn't do any array bounds checking.

And it also replaces java.util.List Iterations with a for-loop that accesses
List instance with index number (List.get(int)) and thus avoids the overhead of
Iterator instance.

This patch is not a major speed improvement, but should speed up things a tiny
bit...

Cheers,
kare@kare.uklinux.net
