There is a workaround for this bug.  It involves seperating your JPS files 
from your static content file.  So, a simple example would be to have two 
top-level directories:

/jsp
/static

Then, in your httpd.conf, use WebAppDeploy to map your application to /
jsp.

Thus, any request that looks like http://yourhost/jsp/whatever.jsp will be 
forwarded to the container.  All other requests will be handled by Apache.
