ServletContext.getResourcePaths() returns extra slashes

           Summary: ServletContext.getResourcePaths() returns extra slashes
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.0.1 Final
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: Other
         Component: Webapps
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ivanovss@chat.ru

This may not be really invalid, but annoying.
Supposing that I have the following piece of web context:

/css
/css/dm.css

...here are the results of invoking getResourcePaths() with different arguments:

/css         -> /css/dm.css
/css/        -> /css//dm.css
/css//       -> /css///dm.css
///css       -> ///css/dm.css
///css///    -> ///css////dm.css

It appears that groups of leading and/or trailing slashes are not merged into
just one slash.
