request.getRemoteAddr() and AccesLog not working

Summary: request.getRemoteAddr() and AccesLog not working
           Product: Tomcat 3
           Version: 3.3 Final
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Unknown
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: polverini@explo-it.com

Hello,
there is a bug in tomcat 3.3 final that was not there in version 3.3rc2:
getRemoteAddr() always return 127.0.0.1 instead of correct address.
I can't use 3.3rc2 because AccesLog (the one generating apache style logs) is not
working.
Is there any workaround?

If it helps, I'm running RedHat 7.1 with all updates and JDK 1.4beta2.

Thanks,
Alex
