error when access ejb component from jsp page

Summary: error when access ejb component from jsp page
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.0.1 Final
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Blocker
          Priority: Other
         Component: Webapps
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: cctang@yahoo.com

When accessing ejb component from jsp, I either got ClassCastException,
StackOverflowError and other exceptions. Put it simple, it does not work!

Here are my config and findings,
1)
All the classes that needed to access ejb are stored in WEB-INF/classes.

2)
If a servlet is created, all calls to ejb works because the compiled code
is stored in WEB-INF/classes.

3)
If a Jsp is created, all calls to ejb will fail because the compiled code
is not stored in WEB-INF/classes.

4)
If the compiled jsp code is copied to WEB-INF/classes, all calls to ejb work.

This problem only happens in tomcat4.0. Could it be that tomcat4.0 uses
different classloader for jsp and non-jsp classes?

Thanks!
