Subject RE: [VOTE] Removal of mod_jk for Apache 2.0 from jakarta-tomcat f or Tomcat 3.3
Date Tue, 11 Sep 2001 12:35:24 GMT
Hi to all,

It seems we had yesterday a very strange day,
a sort of dream day, but with very constructive
feedback and idea.

I'll have to think at all the proposal, and
prepare a correct answer (my english is still
very ... scolar).

But I agree on merging mod_jk/mod_webapp, ajp14-warp.

Read me soon, with many ideas taken for a definitive
must-read http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~mdw/proj/sandstorm/

Ideas to use NBIO, multicast sockets from web-server
and tomcat-servers (to forward requests) and from
tomcat to tomcat (to forward sessions updates).

Some ideas I'd like to share with others on this list,
to build powerfull and distributed solutions for
Java Web Services providers (a step farther just Servlet/JSP).
