403 response code .

           Summary: 403 response code .
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.0 Final
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Catalina
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: maint@intercollab.kiev.ua

I have JSP files in different directories with different security constraints.
When I am not logged, I usually get login form . But when I am logged and I try
to get protected resource (I have not such role), I get always message
'HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied'.

I remember that in Tomcat 3.x I get login form again. What is the
reason to get this simple message ? It's bad when in complex application user
gets it.

Why don't provide such situation with re-login or error-page ?

    Thank you.
