To borrow a phrase, "sigh, i hate handholding." -)

First, if you take a look at
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-4.0/nightly/
you would see that regexp *IS* included in the download.

Furthermore, borrowing another phrase "READ THE ENTIRE EMAIL". ;-)  I
wasn't trying to test the prepackaged download instructions.  I was trying
to explicitly follow the instructions in the README.txt, and choosing to
build dependencies from source whenever that option was available.

Now a question for you, Jon.   Are you suggesting that as a developer
myself, I should have to modify tomcat's build.xml if I were to wish to run
with the latest and greatest verson of jakarta-regexp?
