I was not planning on modifying the .sh files.  IMHO, there are enough differences between
Unix and Windows that the batch files don't have to be that consistent. :-)

I can have tomcat.bat check for NT and a non-blank TOMCAT_AUTO, and if found, attempt to use
the "for" command.  Otherwise it will create the CLASSPATH statically.

I think the static CLASSPATH should be fine for most users.  The TOMCAT_AUTO could be an undocumented

-1 for removing it from the .sh files ( you can make it optional if
consistency is important :-)
