SUN E3000 2GIG memory 4 processors - we have not detected any other hardware
problems

Signal 11 often refers to a deep hardware problem:
CPU, main memory or secondary cache. Buddy of mine is
in charge of 2 Sun 5500s, each with 4 processors. He
has had to replace 5 processors last year on those 2
machines.
