Subject BUG?: 8K Flush Buffer
Date Thu, 10 Aug 2000 09:05:42 GMT
A poster to my jGuru Servlets FAQ brings up the following problem. I
haven't verified it yet. Was this intentionally introduced? If so, why?

Tomcat 3.2 wait a 8k buffer before flushing. For example, if you use flush after
sending one character, this function does nothing.
In Tomcat 3.1, the flush function always works.

Try this example with Tomcat 3.1 and Tomcat 3.2 b2:

     out.print(".");
     out.flush();

     wait();

Nicolas.
