Subject more on CVS gone wacky - overlaps with web.dtd problem?
Date Wed, 26 Jul 2000 09:22:36 GMT
the resources dir is missing too, when I try and start tomcat in the dist
directory I get

D:\apps\jakarta\latest\build\tomcat>bin\tomcat run
Using CLASSPATH:
.\classes;.\lib\ant.jar;.\lib\servlet.jar;d:\apps\jdk\jaxp\101\jaxp.jar;d:\a
pps\jdk\jaxp\101\parser.jar;d:\apps\jdk\jndi\121\lib\jndi.jar;
d:\apps\jdk\122\lib\tools.jar;d:\apps\jdk\122\lib\tools.jar
Using JAVA_HOME: d:\apps\jdk\122
Using TOMCAT_HOME: .
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError:

D:\apps\jakarta\latest\build\tomcat>

Once i added the contents of that dir, it starts, albeit with dtd errors.

BUT, it looks like there is some overlap between the web.dtd problem Arion
mentioned earlier and this problem, since web.dtd was one of the aroun 10
files that didn't come down from CVS in my "fresh" install...

hope this all makes sense to someone out there!!!

cheers

geoff
