Subject [GitHub] [thrift] rtvd opened a new pull request #2299: THRIFT-5329: Shorten names of inner classes
Date Sun, 03 Jan 2021 14:42:52 GMT

rtvd opened a new pull request #2299:
URL: https://github.com/apache/thrift/pull/2299

Names of inner private classes are shorted in the generated Java code.

As explained in [the ticket](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-5329) there are
situations where Java code generated by the Thrift compiler is too hard for Java compiler
to handle. This is particularly true when function names are long.

This change makes names of some private inner classes be shorter, which in turn makes the
code be easier for a Java compiler to process.
