Subject [jira] [Commented] (THRIFT-4777) Non Blocking Server implementation for Rust
Date Thu, 07 Feb 2019 18:29:00 GMT

Satyender Yadav commented on THRIFT-4777:

[~allengeorge] My use also requires the application code to be of non blocking in nature,
because it is expected to have network calls. But let us consider that as second stage feature.
Because it will require me to implement Async thrift client to be generated in Rust from thrift
IDL. We should create an issue for it too.

Also what I am trying to build has many similarities to linkerd which also is built using
Rust + tokio. On communication side difference is linkerd uses http2 for communications.
