James E. King III commented on THRIFT-4629:
-------------------------------------------

It looks like THRIFT-4464 is the only issue marked as critical or blocker for the python library.
We should start a 0.12.0 release soon to pick this up and get it out there.

https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20THRIFT%20and%20component%20in%20(%22Python%20-%20Library%22)%20and%20resolution%20not%20in%20(%27duplicate%27)%20and%20priority%20in%20(critical%2C%20blocker)%20and%20(affectedVersion%20is%20empty%20or%20affectedVersion%20not%20in%20(%220.12.0%22%2C%20%221.0.0%22))%20and%20fixVersion%20in%20(%220.12.0%22%2C%20%221.0.0%22)

For reference I have uploaded patches for some libraries, like this one for Perl:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-4471

So it's something we can do, it just requires someone getting on top of the issue who has
write privileges to PyPi.
