I believe this is what is happening. When the direct link is clicked,
the Block is not rendered so getParameter() will fail. Are there any
reasons why you don't write the block like this:

 <span jwcid="MgList@Block">
 <span jwcid=" @AcuVigilComponent:MgList"
     selectListener='listener:selectListener'
     objectList='ognl:MgList' />
 </span>
 
and the RenderBlock like this:

 <span jwcid="@RenderBlock" block="ognl:components.MgList"/>
