It tells the template parser that the actual content of the template is 
inside this tag, and everything outside this tag should be ignored. It 
allows you for example to have a template which is a complete html page 
so it can be viewed nicely in an html editor while designing, but still 
be used as a template with components like Shell, etc.  Take a look at 
this sample:
