Subject [jira] [Commented] (TAP5-2079) When the application operates without a context path, asset URLs are incorrectly formed

Hugo Palma commented on TAP5-2079:
----------------------------------

As it turns out tomcat was returning "/" as context path because in the embedded code that
starts it i was doing:

tomcat.addWebapp("/", new File(webappDirLocation).getAbsolutePath());

instead of:

tomcat.addWebapp("", new File(webappDirLocation).getAbsolutePath());

So, for me it's solved.
Leaving it up to the community if you want to make Tapestry foul proof and handle this case
or not.

> If the application has no context path then all asset urls start with //assets which
is wrong and results in no asset being loaded.
