Zsombor commented on TAPESTRY-1001:
-----------------------------------

Well, it must be a lot better if the error states that: ' Attribute "type" must NOT be declared
for element type "parameter" '.

> The error message is not correct
> --------------------------------
>
> Key: TAPESTRY-1001
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-1001
> Project: Tapestry
> Type: Bug

> Components: Framework
> Versions: 4.0.2
> Reporter: Zsombor
> Priority: Trivial

>
> I've specified a component with a parameter, and I tried to specify type :
> <parameter name="eventList" type="java.util.List" />
> But it throws an exception which states:
> "Unable to read context:/WEB-INF/components/EventList.jwc: Attribute "type" must be declared
for element type "parameter"."
> This is a little bit misleading .... I've wondered for several minutes what to do, until
i've finally removed the 'type' parameter.
