Subject [jira] [Updated] (TAJO-215) Catalog should allow compatible types when finding functions
Date Fri, 04 Apr 2014 17:14:14 GMT

Alvin Henrick updated TAJO-215:

    Attachment: TAJO-215.Henrick.02.patch.txt

Added UPPER CAST SUPPORT for most of the common data types. Was not feeling comfortable with
TIME / DATE RELATED functions so left them untouched.

Warm Regards,

> Current catalog is strong typed. Given a find request, it only can search for a certain
function with the same argument types. However, in many cases, catalog should find functions
with compatible parameter types.
